Lenora Reyes

Our beautiful Lenora Reyes, age 68, of Austin, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.

My sister is the eldest of six and on many occasions, served as her siblings’ 2nd mom. During her pre-school years, she had fun in tap dance classes and smiled from ear-to-ear when performing. During the summer months, she and her siblings would make the trek from Newning Avenue to Little Stacy Pool to earn that summer’s swimming patches. During her years at Fullmore Jr. High, she relished meeting up with friends at local concerts and performing bands. While attending Travis High School, she enrolled in the Cosmetology course, and frequently used her sister (100% tomboy) as the guinea pig to practice the latest hair styles.

Her early adult years included weekend nights boot-scooting to the latest country western sounds. As her family grew, she relished family gatherings either at home or at a favorite restaurant. She was an avid animal lover and would never turn away a dog in need of a home.

Her love for her family was evident and she was very generous with her hugs. Her laugh was pure and comforting and will live forever in many hearts.

She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Reyes Sr and granddaughter, Clarissa Reyna.

She is survived by her mom , Mary Duran Reyes, daughters, Monica Johns (Jeff) and Brandy Lafitte; sister, Doris Reyes, brothers, Daniel Jr Reyes ,Christopher Reyes , Anthony Reyes , Joel Reyes; grandchildren: Annalyssia Dominguez, Daniela Dominguez, LeAnn Dominguez- Hernandez (John), Jonathon Reyna, Desirae Martinez, and Delilah Martinez; great grandchildren: Jayden Ellison, Camron Datrice, Jon David Mendoza, Lorenzo Mendoza, Camila Rivera ,Leila Hernandez,Jayda Hernandez, Ashton Hernandez, Jasiah Reyna and Alaia Reyna.
