Louise Waller Junkin Louise Waller Junkin, 93, died May 4, 2005. Louise was born to Carl and Eloise Waller on February 29, 1912 in Fentress, Texas. She spent her early years on her fathers farm and loved working with growing things. In 1931, she met and married Daniel Penick Junkin, a young engineer from Austin. Dan and Louise and their two children moved frequently because of Dans work, but Louise always found friends and a church. She loved to sew, work in her garden, travel, and read. When the family moved back to Austin, Louise went to work in the circulation department at the Austin Public Library. She was an active member of the University Presbyterian Church. Louise is survived by her sister, Ophelia Waller Ashworth, her daughter, Patricia Louise Plunkett, her son, Daniel Penick Junkin, Jr. and his wife, Nancy. Family was most important to Louise, and she loved to visit with her grand children Mark Plunkett, Lynn Harrison, Lucy Plunkett, Peter Junkin and Andrew Junkin. Her beloved great grand children include Daniel and Megan Plunkett, Emily and Caitlin Harrison, Nicholas and Amira Junkin. A memorial service will be held at the University Presbyterian Church on May 7, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
