

A life long Texan, Lynda was born on June 6, 1947 in Amarillo, grew up in Jasper, and graduated from Jasper High School in 1965. She attended Stephen F. Austin University before starting a professional life entailing all aspects of real estate. She began her career in Dallas, but soon moved to Austin to work for Bob Bullock in the Texas Comptroller’s Office. Lynda remained an Austinite from that time on, where she raised two children, and had a successful career in property association management.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Margret A. Crawford, of Jasper, and is survived by her father, O.R. Crawford and his wife Nancy, daughter Melynda A. Hurst, son Oliver C. Bonney, brother Alan R. Crawford and his wife Sherri, sister Carolyn R. Pederson, grandchildren Tyler, Hunter, and Cole Hurst, great-grandchild Kingston Hurst, niece Christina McDowell, nephews Jeremy Pederson and Alan Crawford, Jr., and many friends.
A memorial service will be held at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills, 9700 Anderson Mill Road in Austin on Tuesday, July 22, at 3:00pm. There will be a graveside service in Jasper, Texas at a date to be determined.
