Margaret Cantu Terán, beloved mother, wife and grandmother, died peacefully August 20, 2007. Born August 19, 1927, she was preceded in death by her mother, Frances P. Frank; father, Fernando G. Cantu; and husband, Paul M. Terán. Survivors include her children, Alfred C. Terán, Mary Inez Tovar (Robert); granddaughters, Roxanne and Natalie Tovar; brothers Fernando Cantu (Sylvia), Sam Cantu (Sandy) and Robert Cantu; sisters, Dorothy Johns (Johnny) and Sylvia Castro (Jim). Also surviving her are sisters-in-law, Sister Mary Inez, C.D.P., Phyllis Aleman (Manuel), Lupe Rangel, Tonie Velasquez; and numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to cousin Mary Elizabeth Apostolou, Lupe Rangel, hospice volunteer Z Blair and husband Jeff, for their selfless support as caregivers. Holy Rosary will be recited 7:00 PM, Wednesday, August 22, 2007, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 23, 2007 at St Peter the Apostle Catholic Church 4600 E. Ben White with Monsignor Fred Bomar officiating. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
