Marian Annis Cloer Dye was born August 21, 1912 in Lampasas, Texas and died March 4, 2008 in Austin, Texas. She was preceded in death her mother and father, Viola East Cloer and William J. Cloer; brothers and sisters; her husband, Clifton Eugene Dye who died on April 14, 1995. Marian is survived by her son, Bill Dye of Austin; daughter, Sue Ann "Suzy" McWilliams and husband, Edward McWilliams of Annandale, Virginia; grandchildren, Will Dye of Wylie, Texas, Dagny Schmidt of Austin, Lynn Downing of San Antonio, Texas; great-granddaughters, Reagan Schmidt and Logan Dye. She was an active member of Southside Church of Christ for many years and in later years of Capitol City Church of Christ. The family would like to express special thanks to Christopher House and in particular Patti, Cheryl and Lori, for all their help and kindness during her illness. Marion will lie in state on Friday, March 7, 2008 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at Capital Memorial Park, Pflugerville, Texas.
