

Mary Jane Hopkins Our precious Lord took His child, Mary Jane Hopkins, home on February 10, 2004. She was 69 years old. She was a gracious, beautiful, and noble woman who nurtured and treasured her family. Born May 6th, 1934 in Hutto, Texas, she was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Mayme Anderson, of Hutto. Married for 49 wonderful years, she is survived by her husband, Glynn (Ace) Hopkins of Lakeway, brother Morgan Anderson of Houston; daughter Karin Stern and husband Bobby of Hutto; daughter Jenny Cashion and husband Paul of Boerne; daughter Ellen Dawson and husband Tony of Lakeway. She loved and adored her 10 grandchildren: Peter and Tim Dawson, Jenna, Mason and Melanie Stern, Andrew, Philip and Adam Cashion, Ryan and Steven Dawson, and her new great-granddaughter Leah Dawson. Her writing skills have touched the lives of many, and brought joy to numerous families throughout the world, especially children. She had a passion for golf and tennis, and was extraordinarily generous with her time by contributing to the many civic, church, and writing organizations in Lakeway. A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, February 13, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. at Lakeway Church in Lakeway.
