Mary C. Ramirez, age 79 of Austin, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2006. She is preceded in death by her husband Jose G. Ramirez. She is survived by her sons, Jose Benito Ramirez, Guadalupe Leybas, Jimmy Ray Ramirez, Anthony Ramirez, Sr., Jesse Ray Ramirez; 21 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sisters, Janie Cruz, Rita Flores, Lutheria Sustaita; twin brother, Joe Calderon. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jimmy E. Ramirez, Anthony Ramirez, Jr.; Jesse Joe Ramirez, Michael Anthony Ramirez, Joe Michael Ramirez, Joseph Robert Ramirez, Isaiah Ray Ramirez. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm on Sunday, October 1, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, on Monday, October 2, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church with Reverend Anthony Njoku officiating. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
