

Mary S. Ramos, age 70, a life-long Austin resident, passed away on February 17, 2004, after a courageous battle with cancer. Mary was a caring, devoted and beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Nothing brought more joy to her heart and sparkle to her eyes than spending time with her family. Mary's kind heart, ever-present smile and wonderful outlook toward life will be dearly missed by those who came to know her and love her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eulogio (Leo) S. Ramos, after 45 years of marriage and her son-in-law, John W. Ellington Sr. Mary is survived by her sons, Jimmie S. Garcia and spouse, Marie Garcia, and Eulogio (Lee) S. Ramos Jr.; daughter, Grace Ellington; brother, Paul Saucedo and spouse, Connie Saucedo; sister, Lois Kantner of Tulsa, Oklahoma; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A rosary service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 19, 2004, at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 20, 2004, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
