My Aunt Pat was very special to me, I love her so much. I attended her beautiful service, but I was too emotional to share my thoughts or memories.
In 2nd grade learning to write letters, we had pen pals from a 2nd grade class in another state. I decided I would write a letter to my Aunt Pat, because I missed her so much. Aunt Pat was my pen pal for almost 20 years. All through my school years and until my son was born, we wrote letters as a way to keep in touch that was just between us. She gave me advice or expressed praise or concern, always with love and made me feel special. Aunt Pat never judged me or gave me anything but love, unconditional love.
In 2009 when my Daddy, her baby brother lost his battle with cancer, Aunt Pat was beside me holding my hand, giving me the strength to get me through his funeral. Even though her heart was broken and she was grieving for her brother, her concern was for me.
She was such a blessing in my life. I adored her.

to the family I now time has grown between us ,but I can say this aunt pat was the same
to me every time I saw her there was not a time I did not see her she would give me a hug
and tell me she loved me .the times I got to see her was always a pleasure because she never had a negative word to me .for this time in life for your loss me and my family send
our hearts out to you for she is a special person.time eases the pain but we never forget
the loved ones we loose. thinking of your family
