

Max was a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and was an active member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. During his time there, he served as Community Chairman, Social Chairman, and Recruitment Chairman. He went on to build a successful career in technology sales with Beekeeper by LumApps and was known for his warmth, generosity, humor, and the ease with which he made friends wherever he went.
A devoted husband to Maria Melissa Muñoz, Max shared with Melissa a life full of travel, hiking, music, friendship, and hospitality. Together they enjoyed the Austin music scene, dining out, art shows, festivals, and memorable trips to Port Aransas and Colorado. Their beloved dog Willie was a treasured companion and an important part of Max’s life.
Max was an avid sports fan who loved all sports in every season. He especially enjoyed following University of Texas athletics, the Dallas Stars, the Dallas Cowboys, the Dallas Mavericks, and tennis, and he attended the U.S. Open on several occasions. He also found joy at home, where the owl house he installed in the backyard remains a lasting reminder of the delight and wonder he loved to share with others.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Melissa Muñoz; his mother, Laura Kathleen Wall Zeller; his father, Thomas Mark Zeller; Leslie Farren, spouse of Tom Zeller; his sister, Devin Elizabeth Zeller, and nephew Tommy Eriksen of The Woodlands, Texas; his brother, Samuel Douglas Zeller of Dallas, Texas; Alicia and Francisco Muñoz, Paco Muñoz, Ivan Muñoz, and Lizbeth Muñoz of Houston, Texas; Bobby and Sue Zeller, Jessica Davila, and Allison Zeller Wallas of Ballwin, Missouri; Mary Lynn and Fred Grask, Lauren Grask, and Conner Grask of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Paul and Jane Zeller, Griffin Zeller, Mason Zeller, and Hayden Zeller of Overland Park, Kansas; his uncle Douglas Wall and aunt Joanna Wall, along with Atticus and Quincy Wall; his aunt Jocelyne Wall of Norman, Oklahoma; and his stepfather, Mark Seeberger, with stepsiblings Kaitlin Seeberger Prindle, Colin Seeberger, and Meghan Seeberger. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Richard Wall of Norman, Oklahoma.
Max was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Austin, and his faith remained an important part of his life. He will be remembered for his vibrant spirit, kind heart, quick wit, and the joy he brought to family and friends. His loss is deeply felt, and his memory will remain a blessing to all who knew and loved him.
