Michael D. Miller

Born April 8, 1948 in Austin, Texas to Doyle and Ollie Miller. He passed from this life to his eternal home on April 28, 2017. He is survived by his wife of more than 47 years, Margaret Parker Miller. He was blessed with two daughters and their families: Kathy Beck, husband Steve; granddaughters, Kasey and Leah Beck and Mindy Ann Kutac, husband Cody; grandson, John Anthony Kutac. He is also survived by his sister: Connie Miller Eady and husband Jack.

He was loved by numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and extended family members.

Mike was a Christian man of integrity, a devoted husband and family man. He was steadfast in his faith. He was a long time active member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, a faithful children's Sunday School teacher and Royal Ambassador leader. He was humble, kind, loving, helpful and loyal.

Pallbearers are Steve Beck, Cody Kutac, Clay Parker, Jeff Mitchell, Bill Seymour and Dan Stivers.

A visitation will be Tuesday, May 2, 2017 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Cook- Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78752.

The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 3838 Steck Ave. Austin, TX 78759.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church Children’s Ministry.
