

Nancy Warren Frasher, 76, of Austin, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2011, after her battle with Breast Cancer. Nancy was born on December 27, 1934, in Dallas, Texas. She grew up in Midland, and then made Austin her home, after attending the University of Texas. She is survived by her husband, Dr. John C. Frasher, Jr., and two children, Debra Purser Wyse and John Warren Purser and partner Jeff Sasarak. She is further survived by nine step-children, Susann Collins, Patty Frasher, Cathy Hegemann, Mary Frasher, Maggie Carmony, Lee Murdock, Martha Proctor, John C. Frasher III and Teresa Salyer; three grandchildren, Gregory Wayne Young II and his spouse Holly Young , Geoffrey Warren Young, and Brittany Elizabeth Arrieta and her spouse Jacob Joseph Arrieta, and one great-grand child Gregory Wayne Young III. A Memorial service will be conducted at four o’clock in the afternoon, Sunday, the 6th of March, in the Colonial Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Blvd. Austin, Texas. A Reception is to follow at the UT Ex-Students Center at half-past five in the afternoon.
