

Ottilia Lempar of Austin, Texas, age 86, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2013. Tilly was born October 18, 1926 in Granger, Texas. “Tilly” (as she was known) was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her son Michael, James and his wife Cindy Lempar and grandson Cody. Tilly was preceded in death by her husband Wincent, her parents, and a sister Tekla Kaminski-Pekar, and a brother Henry Kaminski.
Married February 12, 1945, for 66 years to husband Wincent, they spent many happy times at their lake house on Lake Buchanan surrounded by family and friends. She caught many catfish and bass over the years, loved to play poker and listen to polka music.
The family wants to especially thank her caregivers and extended family Stephanie and Tim Masters and family, and Susan Giron. They showed us love and compassion beyond compare. We also want to thank all the folks at Resolutions Hospice, Brightstar and Home Health Services. We could not have done it without you.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o’clock until seven o’clock in the evening, on Wednesday, the 25th of September 2013, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas. A Rosary will be recited at seven o’clock that evening.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ten o’clock in the morning on Thursday, the 26th of September 2013 at St. Louis Catholic Church, 7601 Burnet Road. Interment will follow in Polonia Cemetery near Lockhart, Texas under the direction of Cook-Walden Funeral Home.
