Patricia Joy Conger, age 80, on Monday, October 18, 2010, in Austin, Texas, ascended to the Abha kingdom. She was a pioneer for 42 years in Ecuador, where she touched many lives. She was born January 14, 1930 to Faye (Gilbert) and Roy Friddell in Shepherd, Texas.
Patricia loved nature and had a passion for creating and learning all about gardens. She was a member of the Baha’i Faith and was much loved by her family.
Patricia is survived by her daughters, Munirih and husband, Danilo of Cuenca, Ecuador and Michelle and husband, José of Austin; sisters Shirley, Dolores, and Gloria; brothers, Bill, Donnie, Roland, and Norman; grandchildren, Shelly of Austin, Lua, Joaquin and Jorge, all of Cuenca, Ecuador.
Graveside services will be held at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
