I knew Pat for many years and greatly admired her wit and grace.  She was a wonderful woman, a joy to talk with and gracious to everyone.  I remember a fabulous afternoon we spent on a mother/daughter outing with Luisa and my MIL, going to Ikea and enjoying the day.  Pat was definitely a special lady who will be missed.

As sad as I am missing you, I know you are now with the love of your life, Oscar.  This beautiful memory was at our home in front of the organ you could play beautifully.  I know sister, Adelaide, is showing you the ropes up there in Heaven.  I'll see you both before too awful long.  Save me a spot!

My Mother was many things.  Loving, sweet, smart and a little feisty at times, especially if you got between her and her coffee.  The wife of a military man she moved often and touched many.  She was an educator and a musician.  She played either the piano or organ (depending on what was available) at almost every church we ever attended.   Often times she would watch us like a hawk from her seat at the organ and make sure we were not misbehaving.   If so, we got the look!

She was married to our Father for almost 60 years before he passed in 2019.   They met in Mexico City when she was a foreign language student/Spanish major.   Their love endured much, Vietnam and other tours of duty, not to mention a lot of moving.  My Father would often bring young servicemen to our house for home cooked Mexican dinners (cooked by our Mother) and a piano or organ concert (performed by our Mother) after dinner.  My Father would beam with pride as she played.  We all did.  

I will miss your laughter Mom and the yelling at the TV screen when the Dallas Cowboys played.  "Get him, get him, get him!"

A devout Christian, how fitting that you were called up to Heaven on Easter.  

Your spirit and Love will not be forgotten.   We all loved you so much and I will miss you until I see you again.
