An Austin resident for over 40 years, he is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Angie; his children, Colleen, Paul, and Patrick Hewes; his grandchildren, Erin, Lavenia, Olivia, Sabrina, and Allen Junior.
The world is a lesser place without him.
Services will be held at Weed-Corley-Fish South Congress at 7:00 pm, Saturday, December 17, 2011 and he will be laid to rest in Killeen, Texas at a later date at the Central Texas State Cemetery for Veterans.
