Phyllis and I worked together at CRSS in Houston back in the 1980's.  What a wonderful person she was to work with and be around.  I still have a "CRSS pocket card" with birthdays on them and I saw that tomorrow was her birthday, so I wanted to Google to see if I could find her and wish her a Happy Birthday.  So sad to see that she passed back in 2015.  I can only imagine how much you are missed by so many people.  RIP my old friend.  DeJuana

Phyllis and I worked together at the State Comptroller's office for many years. I had the pleasure of being her supervisor and friend. She was a delight to work with and of course she had a dry wit that was funny and always on point. Since her retirement we kept in touch especially with the recent passing of her mother. Phyllis will always hold a warm place in my heart and I will cherish her memory for the length of my days.

It is my sincerest prayer that the Lord will have mercy upon her soul and present her to God the Most High. May His perpetual light shine upon her now and forever and may her family and friends be comforted and encouraged in the days ahead.

Farewell my friend....this is not goodbye....Lord willing we shall see each other in our future.
