Richard Wyatt, a life-long Austinite, died May 20, 2010 after a long, brave struggle with lung cancer. He was born April 4, 1967 to Donna Kilwien and Charles Wyatt. Richard met his wife April in high school and for 23 years they were true soul mates, sharing a love few ever find. Richard and April's love produced two children; Kimberly and Christopher Wyatt. Richard is also survived by siblings Wesley Wyatt and spouse Melody, and Jessica Risenhoover and spouse Tim, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. Richard’s friends loved his honesty and occasional bluntness. He was a member of Pond Springs Church of Christ. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday at Pond Springs Church of Christ, 13300 Pond Springs Rd., Austin. Burial services will take place at Lytton Springs Cemetery. Richard was preceded in death by his mother Daisy Wyatt, his grandparents Paul & Frances McComas, and grandparents Bill “William” & Jessie Pelt.
