Robert Bobby Sidney Drake, Sr., age 68, of Rosanky, was born October 31, 1935, and passed away unexpectedly at his home on January 7, 2004. His passions in life included family and stock car racing. He was a retired member of Ironworkers Union #482 here in Austin. He was pleased three of his sons followed him into the trade he loved so much. Most knew Bobby as a wonderful and caring friend - they enjoyed his company and his stories. He is survived by his brother, Richard and wife Eloise Howe, of Tennessee; sister, Sharon Aquillo and husband Ray, of Florida; loving companion, Margaret Hill; four beloved sons, Robert Jr. and wife Grace, Robin, Riley and wife Melissa, and Ricky and wife Demitra; beloved daughter, Deborah Ledesma and husband Edward, of Houston; and 11 grandchildren, Catherine, Michael, Michelle, Samantha, Heather, Rebecca, Tiffany, Allison, Victoria, Raece, and Shane. The family will receive friends from 12:00 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, January 10, 2004, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Funeral Services will immediately follow, with Dr. S. Nelson Lanham officiating.
