
Robert Allen Fritsch, 59, died Monday, November 6, 2006, after a gallant two-year battle with cancer surrounded by his family. Robert was born on August 2, 1947 in Austin, Texas to Clemens Rudolph Fritsch and Lillie Ella Struska Fritsch, the second of three boys. Robert attended the Austin public schools, graduating from McCallum HS prior to joining the United States Air Force in 1967. He served honorably in the Air Force at Pease AFB in Portsmouth, NH, a SAC base during the Cold War. He received an Honorable Discharge from the AF in 1970. Thereafter he attended the University of Texas in Austin where he received his BBA in 1974. He was certified as a CPA in Texas in 1993, which he retained until his death. After a career in real estate and land development for many years, he joined Centex Machining, Inc. in Round Rock as CFO in 1993, a position he held until his death. Roberts favorite hobby was work, but he also enjoyed hunting and cars, which he enjoyed from early age on. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Jo Hannah Strickland Fritsch, sons, Bryan Fritsch and wife Sandy, Kevin Fritsch and wife, Heather, and Brent Fritsch and wife, Brandee, older brother, Ron Fritsch and wife, Connie, younger brother Rick Fritsch and wife, Janice, five grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is also survived by two aunts, Marie Coleman and Evelyn Hartung, and one uncle, Hilton Fritsch. A memorial service honoring Roberts life will be conducted on Friday, November 10, 2006 at noon at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 700 W Whitestone Blvd. (FM1431), Cedar Park, Texas, with long time friend, the Reverend Kenneth Moerbe, officiating.
