Preceding him in death were his father; mother; sisters, Judy Blair and Linda Pitts; and other family members and friends.
He is survived by his sons, Robert Jr. and Christopher Ivey; his daughter, Kelley Ivey; his grandchildren, Chase, Courtney, Clayton, Nathan, Jacob, Emmalyn, Cameron, Caleb, Kailey, Kira, Kenzie, and Kylar; along with great-grandchildren, Bennett, Laken, Harris, and Harper; his sisters, Sandria, Jerry, Margaret, Brenda, and Barbara; his brother, Charles; nephews and nieces; his partner of seven years, Shannon Perry; and many other family and friends.
Robert was different things to many different people in his life. Robert will be remembered as a mentor, a friend, a helper, a husband, a dad, a brother, a happy, fun-loving spirit who lived life his way. Never judging, kind, and willing to help where and when he could.
