Roland Ramos. I hope you're at peace with the Lord. You will be missed, I'm just finding out about your death. REST IN PEACE my friend.

Oh God, no!  I have been out of town since September 6th for two months and only saw Roland’s name in our church bulletin this past Sunday!  Roland was one of the kindest and friendliest members of our church!  He always had a hug for me when I entered church!  I was a Lector for the past 25 years and a member of St. Louis King of France Parish for 44 years.   After back surgery  and neck surgery, Roland often realized my pain was making it difficult for me to stand and he always offered his arm to me if I needed it to get up to go to communion.   I have known him for many many years and cannot imagine him being gone.  I know he was welcomed into his next life with open arms and much happiness!  Gosh he sure will be missed by me and so many others.  What a wonderful man of God!   Many hugs to you my friend,

I’ve known Roland for years he was kind hearted man and so sorry he died but I know he is heaven with all the angels and saints love you Roland. Your friendship is in my heart  pat I’m praying for you every night love peggy god bless . I enjoyed serving with you as a hospitality ministry you encouraged me and always gave me a hug I will always miss you

Roland worked with my wife while she was in Celestica. He got to know our family and would always ask about our kids Nicholas and Althea. Since Father Craig made the announcement of his passing I still expected to see him after Mass walking with some worship aids and greeting people with his friendly smile. We will miss him. Rest in peace Roland.

Such sadness today at the loss of Roland.  The community of St. Louis King of France Catholic Church, especially those of us who attend the 11:30 a.m. Sunday Mass will miss him sorely.  Roland was the Hospitality Minister who greeted us as we came into Mass each Sunday.  He always had a smile on his face and made sure we got a worship aide upon entering and a bulletin upon leaving.  He was faithful in his duties and was a kind soul who even remembered little things about people to follow up on if they had been sick or had some other stress they had shared with him.  If I failed to make eye contact with him for the Sign of Peace during Mass, he would always wish me peace when he guided us from our pews for Communion.  What a sweet man.  Rest in peace, Roland.
