Ron was born on August 12, 1947 to Jay and Joyce Tennell in Loma Linda, California. He grew up in Barstow and graduated from Barstow High School. He then continued his education at Brigham Young University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He loved his family BIG and was dedicated to his work. Ron also enjoyed traveling, listening to live music, playing and watching sports, and spending time with his family.
Ron’s mother and father preceded him in death. His wife, Beverly, survives him along with his sons, Matt, Jon, Jeremy; daughters, Tiffany, Loree, Merrie, Nicole; and grandchildren, Kenzie, Kaitlin, Megan, Dylan, Melanee, Ally, Logan, Austin, and Trey.
A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home, 9700 Anderson Mill Rd., Austin, Texas 78750.
