Rose Linda Reilly was born in Chicago, Illinois to Richard Sherman Tait and Rosa Ramirez Tait on June 26, 1947. She grew up in Flint, Michigan and the family ultimately moved to San Antonio, Texas where she attended then graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1965. Linda married John in San Antonio in 1970 shortly after he discharged from the United States Air Force and they then moved to John’s home state of New Jersey where they lived for ten years during which time they had a daughter. In 1980, they decided to move back to San Antonio, Texas to be closer to Linda’s family. Linda worked as a secretary for a number of years then bravely decided she wanted a career change and trained to become an Electrologist. Tired of working for others, she quickly realized that owning her own business was preferable and opened Linda Reilly Electrolysis, which was open for decades. She took great pride in her work and loved all of the clients and friends she made over the years until her retirement in 2009. In her younger years, she enjoyed ice skating, softball and art. She took up the practice of ceramics and growing African Violets, which brought her many years of joy. She had a deep love of all animals and was especially a dog lover. She loved so many special dogs over the years and loved to take them on long walks. Each one was dear to her and they all carved a permanent place in her heart. She loved her role as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and enjoyed spending time with family. In her later years, she enjoyed traveling with her husband and family and decorating her lovely homes.
