Samuel Roy Reese III

Sam grew up in Odessa, Texas where he graduated from the mighty Permain High then completed his education at T.S.T.I. He later enjoyed a long career working on the “Big Yellow” Cat machinery with a short stint on the enemy John Deere.)

Sam was preceded in his heavenly journey by his mother, Rece Reese, and his father, Sam Reese Jr. As well as his son, Jamie Reese. He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Reese, and his daughter and husband, Kimberly and David Kerr, his grandchildren Camille Bushn, Beck Lapin, and Alicia Kerr, with husband John Kerr. As well as a great grandson, Michael Kerr. His brother and wife, Randy and Lori Reese, and their 2 sons and families. His precious Aunt Tommy and many close cousins. Not to mention a slew of wonderful longtime friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills on Anderson Mill Road from 2pm – 4pm. Services will be held at the same location the following Monday, October 14, 2019 at 10am. Burial services for family will be held later that day at 2:30pm.
