Sorry to hear this Crash. I still remember first meeting Sandra when she visited Greta at Newcomb College in the late sixties. She was wearing what was then called “elephant pants”. Sandra was always stylish and fun.

I took care of Sandra at Seton hospital after a surgery. We bonded immediately. I loved hearing stories how she and Crash fell in love, and how much she loved Jeremy and Rose.
I wish we had time for that cup of coffee or that glass of wine.

My heart reaches from CA to Mark & Family. Sandra was my first Siddha contact when we moved from KY to Austin in 1994. On the phone & then at my first satsang at your home she radiated love & then welcoming hugs. Her including me & then her kind guidance instructing me in the proper preparations for the program that evening helped me relax & feel immediately comfortable with my new sangha. I trust that you are being held with special care as you navigate a new path without her, just as I am after losing my beloved Adam last October.

My sincere condolences to Crash, Rose and the rest of Sandra's family.   We had a very short but memorable time in each other's lives, for only a day or two.  We'd been in the same childbirth class with the same due date, and we ended up giving birth to our daughters at Brackenridge just hours apart--Rose Rachael (if I recall correctly) on March 11 and my Mary Catherine on the morning of March 12.  We shared a hospital room, had rooming-in with our babies and were both vegetarians (I think--at least, we didn't want to eat the hospital food; our husbands brought us delicious food from home).  A friendly nurse told us that we were considered "the weirdos at the end of the hall" by most of the staff, ha!  We had a blast during that very special time.  I've never seen her again but have always thought fondly of her, Crash and the baby who almost shared our daughter's birthday and kept up with their news a tiny bit through a mutual friend.   Our love and sympathy to you all.

A great person who will be greatly missed. Sandra was the epidemy of a lady that cared about her family, was a person who always was there for any one needing help. Loved to laugh , cared about others feelings and never said NO to anyone in need. 
I was lucky to have had her as part of my life, the world will be a little worse off without her.

Our hearts are breaking for you all at this sad time. I've been remembering so many fun times spent with Sandra in Austin, Mexico, and Spain. Eliana and Eliza's Bat Mitzvah will always be one of our favorite memories. I'm so glad we could all have that happy time together before the world shut down. We love you so much and wish we were in Austin with you now.
