Shirley Ann Wolverton, age 76, of Austin passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2009. She was born on August 27, 1932 to George and Berthilla Reising in Peoria, Illinois. She is survived by her son, Jerry Wolverton and wife Nellie of Austin; daughters, Debby Wolverton of Austin, Barby Roberts, Missy Danning, and Janey Wolverton all of Lampasas; grandchildren, Nikita Grezlik of Austin, Tiffany Grezlik of Austin, Clayton Arredondo of Lampasas, Carley Rae Roberts of Lampasas, Weldon Cowan of Lampasas, Jed Dunning of Lampasas, Claire Dunning of Lampasas, Anna Dunning of Lampasas; sister, Bernadine Skraba of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at Weed-Corley-Fish South. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church with Reverend Joseph Tomei, CSC officiating. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
