Our much loved husband, father and grandfather passed away Sept. 22, 2016. Steve loved learning, loved discussing politics, and loved being Jewish. He was an avid reader, and was a creative photographer.
Steve received a B.S. degree from Long Island University, and a masters and Ph.D from New York University. His love of children led to a career as teacher, guidance counselor, principal and director of curriculum.
Steve had a deep faith. He read about all religions, but he read the Tanakh daily. He was proud that such a small number of Jews in the world, could make so many outstanding contributions to society. He deeply believed one had to be charitable.
He is survived by his wife Charlene, son Justin Dennis, daughter Marisa Mnoian and her husband Mike, and grandchildren Dylan and Nathan.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 26, 2016 at Austin Memorial Park, 2800 Hancock Drive.
