Sue "Nana" Allison

Carolyn "Sue" Allison Born July 31, 1950 in Austin, Texas, Sue made a peaceful journey across the rainbow bridge on Thursday April 22, 2010. An accountant by trade, Sue worked for the family business in Lakeway for a number of years while also driving a school bus for the Lake Travis ISD. She also worked for various companies in the Austin area. It was while employed with South Congress Veterinary Hospital that she was able to do what she loved. Her true love and passion was animal rescue and she touched the lives of hundreds of four-legged friends throughout her lifetime. Diagnosed with ALS in 2007, she moved to Lockhart, Texas to be near her daughter and grandchildren and live life to the fullest. Sue is preceded in death by her mother, Ila Allison; and two brothers, Terry Allison and Don Allison. She is survived by her partner, Alan Lovejoy, of Austin; her daughter, Lezlie Hello Krenz and husband, Tom , of Lockhart; grandchildren, McKade Krenz and Kallie Sue Krenz of Lockhart; and father, Johnny Allison, of Lakeway. A very special thank you to Gary Allison, Wendy Clemon, Julie Cowan, and Norma Jean Massudi for your love and care in her final days. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 3:30pm at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Mausoleum.
