Sylvia Ann Blackwell, age 74, of Austin, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2009. She was a member of First Independent Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, R. B. and Obelia Lawrence. Sylvia Ann is survived by her husband, Bobbie Blackwell; sons, Mike (Gloria), David, Paul (Donna), Mark; daughters, Cynthia (Gary), Sandra (Gary); grandkids, Gary Jr., Michelle, Steven, Gary Jr, Matthew, Michael; great-grandkids, Christian, Madison, Matthew Jr.; sisters, Billie, Patsy, Betty, Linda. Momma was a devoted wife, a loving and caring mom and grandma, she will be missed dearly. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel. Graveside service to follow at 2:30 pm at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
