I meet mama to cut and dye her hair ,she loved it when I saw her she had her legs crossed and lip stick on I told her you go lady looking beautiful she smiled she was a sweet lady I well forever hold that memory close to my heart .miss you it's not the same with you not walking on this earth. But you are with your husband now hopefully singing your song YOU NEVER FIND ANOTHER LOVE LIKE MINE BY LOU ROSS. ,AND YOUR DAUGHTHER AND SON AS WELL LISTENING TO YALL SING IN HEAVEN.

Mrs Folkner I Miss her dearly and the time her I and Dee Dee shared together are priceless ❤️ it is and was a privilege to have known her. She will forever hold a special place in my heart

I was previlged to have known her and welcomed in her home. Her daughter Dee Dee I and  her shared some good talks and dinners, she will surely be missed but never forgotten. Thank you Mrs Folkner for allowing me to be apart of your life.

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my lifelong friend, Dory Folkner, at the age of 89. Dory was more than a friend—she was truly family to me and to my family. Even though I moved to California long ago, I always made it a point to check in on her whenever I was back in Austin. My dad also made it a habit to stop and check on her anytime he was on Stassney, which speaks to just how much she meant to all of us.

She played a meaningful role in my life, babysitting me when I was young, patiently teaching me how to cook pancit, and guiding me as I learned to read the Bible. Those moments shaped who I am today, and I will always carry her lessons and kindness with me.

Dory had a heart that reached far beyond her home. She was a friend to everyone she met, always offering warmth, wisdom, and a helping hand. Her presence brought people together, and her legacy will continue to live on in the countless lives she touched.

In her honor, I’ll be out there cutting grass with scissors—just the kind of thing that would make her smile and remind me of her spirit.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences to her beloved family: Debbie, Dee Dee, Patty, David, Denice, Audrey, and Jacob. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

It brings comfort to know that Dory is now resting peacefully in heaven, reunited with her husband and her daughter, Patty.
