Thomas J. Felder, 31 year resident of Austin passed away on August 17, 2007 at the age of 52. He was born on July 13, 1955 in Topeka, Kansas to Ann and Bill Felder. The family later moved to San Antonio where Tommy graduated from John Jay High School in 1974. He did iron work all of his adult life and loved being on the big iron. At the time of his death, Mr. Felder had been a member of the Iron Workers Union, Local #482 since 1993. In addition to his parents, Tommy is survived by his children, Leaia D. Felder and Brooks J. Felder and wife, Veronica; grandchildren, Tristan Jarrel Felder and Danali Rodriguez, all of Austin; brother and sister, Jimmy Felder of Denver, Co., and Laurie Waldock, of Austin; cousin, Mike Felder of New Braunfels; four nephews; best friend, Patti Sargent-Nelly of Dripping Springs and host of other loving family and friends. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, August 21 from 6:00-9:00 pm at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Tuesday. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 22 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church.
