Tim was loved dearly and is survived by his mother Ann Atkinson as well as by his children, Parker and Conner Atkinson; as well as by his Aunt Terri and Uncle Jeff, his cousins Jason and Blaire, and by his nieces and nephews-in-law.
Tim graduated from Tom Clark High School and later served as a police officer for the city of Austin. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with family members and going on vacation. He also had a passion for cooking.
Tim will be remembered for his love and care as a father as well as for his lifelong dedication to the Austin Police Department and the health of the community.
A Celebration of Life for Tim will take place on Saturday, December 4 at 3:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, Texas 78749 with a reception to follow.
