Toby Cuz Fuentes November 28, 1923 August 19, 2004 Toby Cuz Fuentes passed away Thursday, August 19, 2004. He was the only child of Margarita and John Fuentes, born in Calvert, Texas. He proudly served his country (WWII 1942-1945) in the U.S. Navy where he was awarded the Purple Heart medal prior to his honorable discharge. His parents, his wife Sandy Acosta Fuentes, and an infant son, Robert Louis preceded him in death. He is survived by son, Roland Fuentes; daughters Martha Rodriguez and husband Francisco, Cheryl Rangel and JoAnna Luera and husband Mark; eight grandchildren, great-grandchildren and cousins. Special thanks to Dr. Subir Chhikara, nurse Kim, and staff at Gracy Woods Nursing Center and Odyssey Hospice for the comfort provided. Rosary services will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 22, 2004 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home.
