Victor Stanley Lee, 92, Air Force retiree, of Austin, formerly of Hallettsville died Thursday, September 17, 2009. He was born February 12, 1917 in Seadrift, Texas to Melvin and Verna Lee. Survivors include his daughter, Patti Van Dyck of Lexington, Texas and Mary Beth Lee & husband Steve Sletten of Austin; grandsons Steven Van Dyck and wife Shannon of Denver, Colorado, Brian Van Dyck of College Station, Texas and Spencer Sletten of Austin and beloved family friend Wendee Galleymore; also survived by his sisters, Daisy Arnold of Port Lavaca and Elizabeth Lee; brothers, Grover and Charles Lee all of Seadrift. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 24, 2009 in the Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2009 at the Davis-Greenlawn Cemetery, 3900 B.F. Terry Blvd., in Rosenberg, Texas, 77471.
