Victoria Hernandez Hinojosa, age 76, of Austin, Texas passed away on June 28, 2018. She was born and raised in Mercedes, Texas. Vicky was a sweet, nurturing soul who valued family and love. She prayed continuously for everyone. She loved children and animals, and loved to dance and enjoy life. Vicky served over 25 years with the State of Texas, retiring at TCEQ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Elisa Hernandez; son, Gilbert Hinojosa; and 11 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her son, Robert "Bobby" Hinojosa, daughters Clarisia Hinojosa, Tanya H. Ibarra and husband Frank Ibarra III; Grandchildren Selena Lopez and Raul Lopez III; Great-Grandchildren, Jaelin, John Paul, Xavian, Jiana, Elian, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 7:00 pm on Thursday July 5, 2018 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home 2620 S. Congress Ave. Austin, Texas 78704
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Friday July 6, 2018 At St. Ignatius Catholic Church 126 W. Oltorf St. Austin, Texas 78704.
Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
