Vivian L Addcox

Vivian Louise Addcox, age 80, was called home on Monday, March 18, 2024. Ms. Addcox was the daughter of Charles J Addcox and Addie L Miller, all of whom were longtime residents of the Central Austin Area. As a young child Vivian would walk their milk cow from their home to Dellwood shopping center to graze. Vivian attended the local Elementary school and graduated from Austin High School. She furthered her education by attending an Austin business school and obtained a 2-year degree.

Once completing business school Vivian began her career working for the State of Texas Comptroller’s Office. While employed Vivian did numerous tasks. After many years of service to the State of Texas and its people Vivian retired under Bob Bullock. Although retired, Vivian still had a great zest for life and had many hobbies. Vivian loved to plan and schedule her many trips abroad. Vivian was also an animal lover. She gave great love and care to her fur baby Missy. Vivian touched many lives with her warm smile, warm heart, and wonderful stories of her travels abroad. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
