Wes Whitaker

Wesley Lee Whitaker passed away on Sunday, March 14th, 2021 in Cedar Park, TX at the age of 51. He was dearly loved by his wife Nichole, and their children, Nathan and Bailey. Wes is also survived by his mother, Cheryl Whitaker; his twin sisters Heather Whitaker and Wendi Landwehr; and his nephews Aidan Van Nostrand and Ty Landwehr; his aunts Janice Retra, Shirlie Johnson, and Nancy Hussey and a host of cousins.

Wes loved his wife, 3 children, mother, and sisters fiercely. From watching Nathan play football to listening to Bailey’s jokes, he loved spending time them. As a lifelong UT fan, during football season, Wes enjoyed UT football on TV every possible Saturday. Wes had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh and make others around him laugh. He proudly attended Westlake High School, and he served his Westlake community as a volunteer firefighter for most of his teenage years. He will be remembered for his years of service as a volunteer firefighter, and as an EMT for City of Austin. While honored to care for his patients, it was the brotherhood of those men and women Wes served with that brought him so much pride.

Services will be held at Cook Walden Forest Oaks on Friday, March 26th, 2021 at 1pm.
