William A. Butts, age 96, of Austin, passed away Friday, September 27, 2013. He was born August 30, 1917 to Zola (Rutledge) and George Laymon Butts in Florence, Texas.
William served in the U.S. Navy during WW II.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Joel Thielepape to officiate. Interment will follow services at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
