
My dear brother well  it has been six years  since you left us.. it is still as painful as  if it were that day.. Mother and Tommy burn a candle for you daily.We all pray that you are at peace.I know you are preparing a place for us. Till we meet again.

you came out to the house and helped Happy install a swimming pool.
You dug the huge hole for it. The frame for that pool gave a way
aout 6mos. ago. So now we are having a new swimmimg pool installed
and we were talking about you and how much you helped Happy on the old one. Bill we love and miss.

Oh how I wish I could hug you just once more..... and tell you how much I truly loved you. I would tell you what a wonderful brother you were and how I so very much looked up to you. You set great examples for me in the very most important times of my life when you knew that I needed that guidance from you, you were strong but gentle, loving, caring and always wanted to know if I needed anything. My heart goes out to all of the family at the loss of Bill. A dear person indeed. Always a smile on his face. Even as a young boy I can remember a smile on his face. I will always remember the good times we had together as kids, Our families were close, and visited often but over the years we all grew up, got married had familes, moved away, and evenually our families drifted apart., but I thought of Bill often, wondered where he was, and then one day out of the blue I ran into him somewhere in Austin. it was as if we had not been seperated by time. I met Bills son today for the first time, and I couldn't stop looking at him, a spitting image of Bill at that age.. May God Bless each of you as you go forward without Bill and may you all find comfort in knowing we will all be together again in Heaven.





We loved Bill Scott as a friend and co-worker.

He gave Linda "Little Man", a 5 month old 
black Chihuahua, that has become Linda's
dear companion. He is 20 months old now. 
Linda is chronically ill and grew up with 
Chihuahuas.

Just wanted to say that Bill was a wonderful man. I am so sorry to hear about this. He always had a big smile and hug for me when I saw him. What a great man. He will be missed.

I just want you all to know what a great guy Bill was and he was a joy to work with at the City. He always talked about catching that "Big One" when he would go fishing. He sure could tell some good stories about when he and my cousin Woody would go fishing. I will miss him terribly and my heart and prayers are with all his family.

My heart and prayers are with you all as you grieve the loss of Bill. It is a tremendous loss indeed. I worked with Bill for well over 10 years at the city and he was so enjoyable to know and work with. He always had a smile and a friendly word, and yes, a funny story. He told me about when, in his youth, a large apartment complex opened (I believe on South Congress) & it had a great swimming pool. And how he and his friends would sneak into it & swim for free. He & I were the same age & both looked forward to retirement. Rest in peace, Bill. The warmth and joy you shared in this life were appreciated.

My deepest condolences to the family of Bill Scott. Bill and I knew each other from grade school, Jr High and High School. We were friends all through school. We both attended Ridgetop Elementary and I went to Ridgetop Baptist Church. Also, Bill's mother and my dad worked together at Delwood Checker Front Store. We lived in the same neighborhood and we would get together with all of the other kids in that neighbor. I saw Bill in the 1980's, not sure of the exact year, at a hospital where his son was a patient as a result of a motorcycle accident. the best part of any journey is the people we meet along the way...i first met bill when we were working for billy priest surveyors back in the 1970's so i have known bill for a lotta years. we both went on for employment for the city of austin.
i retired from the city of austin years ago and bill retired recently but we always kept in touch. bill was also a co-worker with my wife mary and he had the deepest admiration and utmost respect for her which i appreciated. i always knew that if my wife mary had a problem or needed assistance, well bill was always around for her and asked nothing in return. that's the type of person bill was and everyone who knew him will agree with me on his willlngness to help other people..that was just his nature and for who he was. my definition of bill is that he was the type of person that would come along every hundred years because truly he was without question one of a kind and for this me and my wife mary were truly blessed to have known bill and his passing has left an exteme void in our lives. in closing our deepest and utmost condolences to bill's family and friends because me and my wife mary are both convinced that bill was without question one of our highlights in our lives...and always remember..to love is to reminiscence and to reminiscence is to love...john jc cruz /ausitn tx.

To the family of bill scot. Bill Scot, a great man a great friend. .I would like to share the memory of how me and bill met. Its long story but I'm glad it happened. Well it all started out when I was working as a maintenance man at the apartments him and miss Cooper lived at, I just wanna add the she is a very very sweet lady . Well one day I showed to their apartment for a maintenance request and bill saw my tattoos, well we went on from there and he was telling me about how he has been wanting a tattoo. Well he was happy to find out that I was also a tattoo artist. So we set something up and I got to tattoo him. He was a nice and very funny man, he had me laughing the whole time. He shared lots of stories with me, and he even tryed to help me out with a job with him for the city.over the time me and him got spend together we grew a great trust and friendship. But now ill get to the funny part about wen we all found out that bill was a friend of my dads, its funny because way before I met bill, my dad always use to tell me about a guy he worked with that was always asking my dad to ask me if I would give him a tattoo already. Lol. Well after knowing bill and giving him some tatts, I brought up my dad one day then we got to talking about my dad.. well bill said whata your dads name jj? I told him and bill said WELL ***DAMN JJ I KNOW YOUR DAD, I WORK WITH HIM.. so then I called my dad up at that moment and told him. My dad said, "that's bill scot, the one that's been asking me to tell you to tatt him!" Its was a funny moment and one that I will always keep with me.. bill always use to tell me, DAMMIT JJ TAKE MY BOAT AND TAKE YOUR DAD FISHING! I wish I couldve went fishing with bill, that would've bn a great memory cause I love fishing. . Bill wanting more tattoos and I really wish I would've got around to it but I had stopped tattooing for awhile. He also wanted me to tattoo miss cooper as well, and she was up for it to.lol. brave people. The smile I put on bills face and the happiness from his heart from when I gave him his first tattoo from me, ill keep that in my heart forever! Bill scot, a great man a great friend.
