Willie Vin Cummings

Willie Vin (Bill) Cummings Dec. 24, 1919 - March 1, 2007 Bill Cummings passed from this life on March 1, 2007, at the age of 87. She was a native of Austin, Texas and the daughter of Robert E. Sanders and Laura N. Carter. Preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Lindsey M. (Boots) Cummings was a local home builder until his death in 1995. She is survived by daughter Pam Schutze and husband Robert; Patricia Kirksey and husband Ken; grandchildren, Diane Peyton and husband Gilbert, Rhonda Crocker and husband Scott, Michael Jenkins, II; great grandchildren, Barbara Clifton, Haley Peyton, Timothy Peyton, Carlee Crocker, and Courtney Crocker; sister-in-law, Flora Dean Ellis; and numerous nephews and nieces. Grannie was a caregiver all of her life. She will be remembered for the love she gave to her family and the great meals she prepared. She was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ. The family would like to express their love and appreciation to the staff at Heritage Duval Gardens and Heart to Heart Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice of Austin, 4029 Capital of Texas Highway, Suite 120, Austin, Texas 78704. A graveside service will be conducted at Rhodes Cemetery, 13275 Pond Springs Rd., Austin, Texas 78729 at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 5, 2007, with Roger McCown of Brentwood Oaks Church of Christ officiating.
