Yvonne L. Ryan

Yvonne L. Ryan, a cherished mother, devoted grandmother, and beloved friend, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2023, surrounded by her four children. She was 80 years old. Yvonne was known as a kind, witty, and proper Southern lady. She loved her red lipstick, Chanel perfume, and See's Candy. Her kindness and friendly spirit touched the lives of many, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

Yvonne was born on June 19, 1942, in New Orleans, Louisiana, and was the eldest of 3 children. Her family later relocated to Dallas, Texas, where Yvonne spent her childhood. She attended the University of Dallas, where Yvonne's path crossed with her soul mate, Patrick Ryan, who would become her husband and lifelong partner. On December 28, 1964, they exchanged vows, embarking on a journey of shared dreams and unwavering support. They were the perfect balance in many ways; together, they built a beautiful family and ventured into new territories.

Yvonne remained Pat's devoted partner throughout her life, supporting him wholeheartedly in all his ventures. She could often be found cheering on her children at their sporting events, and taking an active role in their schools as a dedicated volunteer.. She was also affectionately called "Grammie" by 12 grandkids.

Yvonne is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Pat Ryan; her parents, Numa and Yvonne Livaudais; her brother Nick Livaudais. She is survived by her children Shannon Cameron and husband Paul; Mike Ryan and wife Jenna; Kelly Ryan and wife Melanie and Aimee Gordon and husband Brian Gordon, all of Austin, Texas. Yvonne's legacy lives on through her twelve cherished grandchildren: Alex Hass and husband Clayton, Megan Adame, Alex Koch and husband Hunter, Tyler Adame, Reed Cameron, Sara Ryan, Corey Ryan, and wife Ziva, Davey Ryan, Grant Ryan, Luke Gordon, Mia Gordon, and Cole Gordon. Her three great-grandchildren: Addy May, Mac, and Izzy Hass. She is survived by her sister, Jeannie Shirley, her sister in-law Gloria Livaudais and nephew Austin Shirley.

A memorial service celebrating Yvonne's life will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023 at 10:30 am at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 5455 Bee Caves Rd, Austin, TX.
