Anthony Ginn

Il était le fils de feu Nelida Lajoie et de feu Robert Ginn. Il laisse dans le deuil son frère, Chris (Lucie Lebrun), son neveu Jonathan et sa nièce Tamara (Alex Laforêt), ainsi que ses ami(e)s.

Anthony était un homme indépendant et plutôt solitaire, mais apprécié de son entourage et de ses voisins. Il était un lecteur assidu de romans de fantaisies et adepte de nombreux genres de films. Il se remettait d'une opération à cœur ouvert pratiquée il y a un an et espérait reprendre le vélo et les randonnées en forêt une fois sa convalescence terminée.

L’enterrement aura lieu à 13h00, le 16 octobre 2025, au cimetière St-Paul du chemin d’Aylmer. La famille recevra les condoléances au cimetière à compter de 12h30.

En mémoire d’Anthony, la famille encourage un don à la Fondation des maladies du cœur et de l’AVC du Québec.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Anthony Ginn, born in Ottawa on February 15, 1971, and deceased on September 7, 2025, at the age of 54.

He was the son of the late Nelida Lajoie and the late Robert Ginn. He is survived by his brother, Chris (Lucie Lebrun), his nephew Jonathan, his niece Tamara (Alex Laforêt), as well as his friends.

Anthony was an independent and rather solitary man, though well-liked by those around him and his neighbors. He was an avid reader of fantasy novels as well as enjoyed watching numerous types of movies. He was recovering from open-heart surgery which was performed a year ago, and had hoped to resume cycling and walks in the woods once his convalescence was complete.

Burial will take place at 1:00 p.m. on October 16, 2025, at St. Paul Cemetery on Aylmer Road. The family will receive condolences at the cemetery beginning at 12:30 p.m.

In memory of Anthony, the family encourages donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Quebec.
