It is with deep sadness that the family of Beverlay Renaud announce her passing. On Sunday, July 25, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer, Bev passed away peacefully in her sleep. Bev’s life was full of adventure and travel abroad. So much so that in 2010 she packed up her life in Canada and moved to England to enjoy her retirement. For 10 years Bev travelled around Europe and watched countless sunsets over the English Channel from her seaside flat until she returned to her Canadian roots in 2020. Bev is survived by her son, Michael (Jamie) Ostafichuk and daughter-in-law Bobbi of Stittsville, ON; granddaughters Lynn (Adam) and Rachel (Thomas); her sisters Geraldine Gervais (the late Marcel) and Sharon Turner (Dave) and their families from Aylmer. The family would like to thank the wonderful nurses, staff and volunteers at Hospice Care Ottawa, May Court Hospice as well as Dr. Lisa Cross for her unwavering support and for the phenomenal care she gave to Bev. Following cremation, Bev will be interred at St. Paul Cemetery in Aylmer, QC. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 5 at 11:00am. Following the service, light refreshments will be served at the Aylmer Royal Canadian Legion, 59 rue Bancroft. In lieu of flowers please consider an in-memoriam donation to Hospice Care Ottawa, May Court Hospice.
