It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Rooyakkers (Dad) on October 13, 2017. He leaves behind his wife Jacqueline, children; Janice, Nancy (David), and Hans (Donna); brother, Aloys, sister, Jacqueline (Matthieu) and sister-in-law, Yvonne (Antonio). "Opa" will be greatly missed by his grandchildren; Brad, Brianna, Nicholas and Emma. A memorial service will be held at St. Mark the Evangelist church, 160 rue Principale, Aylmer, QC at 11 am, November 4, 2017. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Centre Cancerologie, Gatineau, QC for their kindness and care thru his treatment or the Western Quebec-SPCA for his great love of animals.
