Margaret Roach Miles

She will be deeply missed by her children Michael (Silawan Miles), Nancy (Tom Unwin), Paul (Karen Miles) and Marylou (Stuart Anderson). Grandchildren Shannon (Chris Ryone), Peter, Anchalie, Megan (Tom McGee), Emilie (Anthony Romita) and Kelly. Great grandchildren Wesley, Sebastien and Madeline. She was much loved by nieces and nephews and a wealth of friends of all ages.

Born in Cochrane, Ontario to William and Eva Sheridan Roach, she was the eldest of 6 girls and enjoyed lifelong friendships with her sisters Kathleen (late Jack Kinsella), late Helen, late Olive (Paul Rinfret), late Barbara (late Kenneth Lewis),and late Sheila (late William Bennett). Sister-in-law to Elizabeth Fessenden (late Foster Fessenden).

Married in 1947 to Osmond William Miles, they spent 66 wonderful years together, raising 4 children and travelling the world. We are comforted in knowing she has rejoined her beloved Ossie who passed away December 11th, 2012.

Her unwaivering faith was lived out through her devotion to her family and to the service of others. She will be remembered by all for her wonderful sense of humor and wit.

We would like to thank her many wonderful caregivers during her stay at the Monastere Retirement Home and at the Renaissance Long Term Care facility. A special thank you to Rita Corrigan who cared very deeply for Mom.

A celebration of life will be held at St. Mark's Catholic Church on February 28th, 2020 at 11 a.m. Family will receive guests prior to the service at 10am and a luncheon will be served in the church hall afterwards.
