On September 18th, at age 75, Nicole left us unexpectedly but peacefully, surrounded by her family and friends. She leaves in great sadness her loving partner Jean-Luc Breton, her son Erik Throp, her daughter Anne-Marie Throp and her sister Suzanne Gauthier (Larry Creighton). A special thank you to Louise Breton for all her support.
Nicole enjoyed a successful career as an editor with The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. She was loving her retirement, taking time to garden, read and do her beautiful collages. Through her long walks with her dog Mathilda and lately with « Théo my hero », she made so many good friends. Nicole proudly held the title of Duchess of Wychwood granted to her by Tomson Highway.
We will forever remember her gentle and generous soul and mostly her precious smile.
On Wednesday, October 5th, 2022, from 2 to 4pm, at Racine Robert & Gauthier Beauchamp in Aylmer, family and friends are invited to a casual gathering where we can share our memories of Nicole.
In lieu of flowers, consider donations to The Canadian Cancer Society or The Canadian Mental Health Association.
