PAULINE (POLLY) FORAN Passed away peacefully at Maison Mathieu-Froment Palliative Care on March 15, 2021 at the age of 86. Loving mother to Stephen (Susan Hotra), and Catherine McDermott (Steve McDermott), devoted grandmother to Megan and Kathleen Foran, and Kyle and Kelsey McDermott. Great-grandmother to Joshua Dorion and Sophie Vilon. Predeceased by her cherished husband Dennis Foran, her parents James Sim and Ethel Windmill. She will be sadly missed by her brothers-in-law Joe Martinek and Charles Wakelam, as well as her many nieces and nephews and all those who knew her. She was born in Limbour, Quebec and had 5 siblings, Helen, Heather, Ethel, Judy, and Eric. Polly was a supply teacher at St. Mark’s School in Aylmer for over 20 years. Along with her husband, she was a tireless worker for the Aydelu Service Club in Aylmer. Polly was a great resource for anything to do with sports. She really enjoyed summer vacations with the family which provided us with wonderful memories. We are so grateful for her long presence in our lives. Funeral to take place at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at St. Mark’s Church in Aylmer, Quebec. Mrs. Foran meant a lot to people in Aylmer. All her life, she gave so much to the community and to Aydelu. We will be forever grateful of her engagement and her love for Aylmer.

Polly was my “other mother”. She was there for me, listening and caring when I needed it. She will always be a part of me and lessons she taught me will be passed on. My heartfelt sympathies to Steve and Catherine and their families... she is in a better place now. Remember the laughter and the good times.

Rest in peace, I am thankful that you are with Dad, he loved you very much. I am sorry that I cannot be in Aylmer, but will attend service on-line, you are in my thoughts always
You taught me to be a strong woman, as you are, remembered fondly by so many of my friends, students and the community
