With great sadness we announce that Ray passed away peacefully in hospital at the age of 87 surrounded by loved ones.
He leaves behind his wife Alice Villeneuve (Bray). Dearest father of Janet (Bruce Lough), Valerie (Glen Monahan), Karen (John Martin) and Brenda Lee from first marriage as well as his extended family Susan (Rick Bélanger), Cory (Ken Cuddihy), Brenda (André Lortie), Wendy (Gerry Boeyen) and Adam (Jill Gracey).
Son of Alphonse and Blanche, he is predeceased by siblings Loretta, Paul, Henri, Aline, Gertrude, Bernard, Yvette and survived by brother Ed.
Ray was the very proud grandfather to 18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
He enjoyed many sports, was passionate about golf and loved playing with many friends at the Kingsway Golf Club. He was also able to play year-round while spending many winters in Florida with friends and family.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Kingsway Park Golf Club 1461 Chem. de la Montagne, Gatineau (Aylmer), QC, J9J 3S5.
