

She was predeceased by her parents, Marshall Fortin and Gladys Fortin (née Toner).
Rosemary is lovingly remembered by her husband, Roger Dupont; her devoted daughters, Tina Dupont Scott (Sean Scott), Tanya Dupont (Martin Lovett), Tara Dupont and her cherished grandchildren; Olivia Scott, Calista Scott, and Sebastian Dupont-Lovett, who brought her immense pride and joy.
Rosemary is survived by her siblings; Glen Fortin (Sylvia), Victor Fortin (Lory), Richard Fortin, Bruce Fortin (Lynn), William Fortin (the late Christine), Bonnie Fortin (Garnet), Cindy Fortin (Chris), and Sandra Fortin (the late Denis). Predeceased by her brother, Barry Fortin.
She will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Rosemary was known for her wit and intelligence. A truly creative soul, she had a lifelong passion for the arts and found great joy in music, painting, drawing, and crocheting. She was an avid reader who also loved playing cards, especially cribbage. She had a remarkable gift for creating beauty and sharing it with everyone around her.
She lived life on her own terms, with honesty, independence, and authenticity. Rosemary was unapologetically herself. Her strength, sincerity, and sharp sense of humor made her truly unforgettable.
Above all, Rosemary treasured her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a proud Nana, a cherished sister, a caring aunt, and a loyal friend. Her love, guidance, and unwavering presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Rosemary leaves behind a legacy of creativity, resilience, laughter, and unconditional love that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Rest peacefully, Rosie. You will always be loved, forever remembered, and never forgotten.
A celebration of life will be held in the summer of 2027.
